reiki is based on the principle that unseen life force energy flows through and is essential to the vitality of all living things. if our life force energy is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress and, conversely, if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.

receiving a reiki treatment relaxes the mind and body, filling and surrounding you with a wonderful glowing radiance. reiki treats the whole person, clearing the blockages between and aligning the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual energy bodies. the many benefits include sensations of peace, well-being, balance, and general health.

crystal healing is based on similar principles and involves the laying-on of stones and crystals and along the energetic meridians of the body to facilitate the release of blockages and increase the vibratory rate of the chakra system. the benefits are similar to those of reiki, though crystal healing is particularly helpful when one wishes to address particular physical or life issues (jet lag, emotional loss, connecting with one's intuitive or 'higher' self, discovering one's 'life purpose,' etc.).
